Also know what to do in case things don't go to plan, such as if your engine speed measuring device plays up, you miss the VSI screen or your VT40 doesn't print - have you got wallcharts available for looking up ABS light sequences and brake testing weights?  You can always look at your current test on the VTS device.

Don't use the car you have been using to practice, you will forgett to check something and swear blind you checked it as you will have at some point, and that memory is with you when you checked it, you will do a better test on a fresh car.:cool:

hi clunk.  take your time when doing your demo, stay focused and ignore any distractions, if you think you might have missed something go back and do it, VE's are human and will take into account that you might be nervous. practice your routine as much as possible on the car you are going to use if you can. when it comes to question time at the end and you don't know an answer say you will have to look in the testers manual. good luck and let us know how you got on. :)
