even VOSA's trainers are still human

i want a second opinion,a dna test at the very least.from what i have seen some of these clowns bounced down a different branch of the evolutionary tree to the rest of us:Dand may i further request trainers that actually give a s**t and arent marking time till retirement?to give you a for instance,a trainer in the late 90s made a point of informing me and my fellow attendees that modern vehicles were unlikely to corrode sufficiently to justify failure,my response of"never heard of a metro/fiesta/escort then mate?"led him to reply that it had to weaken the vehicle and were they really that bad?(hed never seen one!) at which point i had to aquaint him with the concept of prescibed areas, and HE was training me?i have taken pillows to refreshers ever since, gets a few laughs and at least the old sod can get his head down for a few hours leaving us classmates to maybe achieve summat constructive.

Update?
It wouldn't surprise me if they say the figures are correct and then go on to make something up as to why VOSA maths and  rest of the world maths don't tally. :?

just opened my results of my ntta test, i phoned up on thursday afternoon when i got back from peterbrough, told i had failed (70%), so i was hoping that the letter could shed some light on where i had gone wrong, it appears that VOSA can't count.

dear mr gormanly,

blah blah you have failed blah blah, exam results below,

section               no. correct                            %scored

brakes                    8/10                                     80%

steering                  8/10                                    80%

suspention             10/10                                  100%

wheel+tyres            4/5                                       80%

electrical                  3/5                                       60%

body                         4/5                                       80%

emissions                 8/10                                     80%

general                    5/5                                       100%

overall mark                42/60                                 70%

now i have added the marks up to 50

my step dad, make 50 aswell

and his dad makes 50 aswell

the requirement to pass the exam is 75%, with at least 60% mark in each section.

which i belive i have met

i think VOSA are going to get a phoncall tomorrow

cheers philip
